    Simple Routing. If nothing more is required, a straightforward one to one mapping to your terminating number
    A Greeting Message. You can add an opening greeting such as "Thank you for calling the XYZ company, please hold while your call is connected"
    Multiple Routes. You can map your number to three different destinations with time zones
    Instant Changes. You will have the ability to go on-line and make instant changes to your routing
    Fax to Email. This function allows you to set your number to receive both voice calls and faxes. The fax is then forwarded by email or can be viewed online
    Voicemail. If a call is not answered, The Digitel Virtual Office can take a message and send it to you as an email or you can log in and pick it up online
    Scheduling. You can route your calls to different places based on the time of the day and day of the week. This feature gives you control to have calls divert to a call centre out of hours or simply play a message to play your opening times
    Remote Access. Functions such as checking voicemail and changing routes can be accessed over the phone with a PIN

All of our numbers have the ability to detect and receive a fax.

    If you enable fax detection and the number is called, our answering platform will listen for an incoming fax tone.
   

If a fax tone is detected then there are two available options:

Forward
  You can add the number of your fax machine and the call will divert to the fax machine
Save
 

The fax will be downloaded by our Virtual Office application for you to view on line and will also send a copy to any email address that you specify

   

If it does not hear a fax tone then the call will be routed on to its destination and the caller will only be aware of a short pause.

    Automated attendant

      This is where our platform will answer all calls, allow people to choose from a range of options, then route the call to the correct department depending upon which option was selected by the caller. Instead of routing to a department, we can build a system that simply provides information when an option is selected.


    Information Lines

      This is where we provide our client with a number to dial into and record a message. Then we provide a separate number (quite often premium rate) that other callers dial into to listen to that message. This is exceptionally common for things like Tipster lines where a tipster records their bets for horse or dog racing and then promotes the service in newspapers for people to call. But is also used for corporate information where companies can release up to date product information for people to check.


    Follow Me Services

      This is where we provide a company or individual with a single number. They can then choose to route their calls at any time to any number they choose. This service will create what is called a Hunt Group. This means that when anyone calls the number, it will try to ring a series of numbers until it finally gets through to the person. E.g. it may try the desk, then the mobile and then the reception, and the caller only ever has to ring a single number. These numbers also provide fax to email. That means that the system is always automatically trying to detect a fax tone for the first few seconds of every call. If a fax tone is received, it will automatically send a receiving fax tone and receive the fax. It then emails it to the email address registered with the number.
